Hypo-Hyperpigmentation

Co-chairs: Yutaka Mishima and Jean-Paul Ortonne

Major Aims:

(1) Establishment of an international standard for the evaluation of new drugs for the control of pigmentation.

(2) Enhancement of close international collaboration between academic and industrial organizations in the basic and applied research for the control of hyper/hypopigmentation.

To achieve the above major aims, funds will be raised to invigorate the scientific study for development of innovative agents to combat and control abnormal pigmentation and elucidate their mode of operation from the molecular to the clinical level.
