surgical management of vitiligo

Both non surgical and surgical therapies have been employed in the management of vitiligo. However, there are no uniformly agreed guidelines or recommendations available for surgical management of vitiligo, based on topography of involvement. According to the literature, suction blister epidermal grafts are recommended for eyelids, for nipples and mammary areolas. The elbows, however, are difficult to treat because of their mobility. We describe cases of excellent response when needling is associated with Excimer laser 308 nm.
