This issue, corresponding to volume number 23:1 and February 2010, is the first issue for the new Editorial Team, with Ze’ev Ronai (Sanford-Burnham Medical Research Institute, La Jolla, CA, USA), as Editor-in-Chief , and Heinz Arnheiter (NIH, Bethesda, MD, USA) and Glenn Merlino (NIH, Bethesda, MD, USA), as Executive Editors for pigment cell biology and melanoma sections, respectively.
